General Hospital spoilers for Tuesday, March 23, 2021, reveal an offer of help, an apology, a surprise visit, and so much more. You won’t want to miss an emotional moment of this new episode.
Smike (Maurice Benard) is shocked when he sees Phyllis’s (Joyce Guy) friend, Nina (Cynthia Watros), but his surprise can’t hold a candle to the utter mind-blowing moment Nina is experiencing seeing a very much alive Sonny. Smike thinks he knows Nina. Nina knows he does. But will she get her wits about her in time to realize he has amnesia?
Nina’s ears could be burning considering she’s all Carly (Laura Wright) can talk about with Jax (Ingo Rademacher) as she urges her ex to go after Nina. Ava (Maura West) happens by and Jax wants to know if Nina told her where she’s taken off to. In a shocking move, Ava offers to help. Will she send Jax in the right direction — and blow everything for Nina?
Laura (Genie Francis) is surprised by Cameron’s (William Lipton) determination. He wants to make sure Jason (Steve Burton) pays for killing Franco (Roger Howarth) and the intensity in which he shares that troubles the mayor — who just so happens to also be his loving grandmother. Will she have a long talk with him about his loss?
Back at home, Liz (Rebecca Herbst), who is still in mourning over the loss of Franco, welcomes a visiting Finn (Michael Easton). He tells her that his private life just became public, which is something that is old hat for the long-time Port Charles resident. But is she really going to have to comfort him when she’s the one with a broken heart?
Fixing what’s broken is top of mind for Trina (Sydney Mikayla), who apologizes to Curtis (Donnell Turner) — which is long overdue. But she’s not the only Robinson Curtis encounters. He also sees Portia (Brook Kerr) and tells her that he has her to thank. Is that simply for lifting his spirits or the inspiration to buy the bar where they had their stakeout?
Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) discusses her options for the baby with Ned (Wally Kurth) and Michael (Chad Duell). If that doesn’t sound like a win/win, she doesn’t know what does. Meanwhile, Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) tells Martin (Michael E. Knight) that the last thing he wants is a way out — he is all in on this new baby in his life.
