Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) works to protect Maxie’s baby, but will her using Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) to help her do that end up with him becoming too attached? We all know he is a devoted dad. Will this con end up costing both Brook Lynn and Maxie (Kirsten Storms) more than they anticipated?

Over in Nixon Falls, Nina (Cynthia Watros) faces tough questions when Phyllis (Joyce Guy) calls her out. Does she have feelings for Mike (Maurice Benard)? Does he have feelings for her? What’s really going on with their “friendship?”

At the same time, Carly (Laura Wright) is back in PC mourning her husband. She is one lonely lady. How much longer will she suffer thinking her precious Sonny is most sincerely dead?

Spoilers show the guilt of killing Peter (Wes Ramsey) eats away at Finn (Michael Easton), but not because the baddie is dead (is he though?). He worries he lost his only shot at saving Chase (Josh Swickard). See it all for yourself in the sneak peek video below.

General Hospital History

GH made its debut in 1963 and is the second longest-running daytime soap opera in American history. The longest-running soap is Guiding Light. While it’s not the longest-running serial, General Hospital is the longest-running soap opera currently on air.

The daytime drama outlasted other soaps to become a mainstay for many households! From legendary Laura’s (Genie Francis) four decades on and off and back on as the show’s leading heroine, to Anna Devane’s (Finola Hughes) exploits, to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and his mobster activities, GH certainly knows how to please their viewers.

Bringing the Drama

More than five decades of gripping drama as well as love in the afternoon have kept this ABC daytime soap on the air and winning Daytime Emmys. It is one of four soap operas currently on the air. The other three daytime dramas include Days of our Lives, The Young and the Restless (YR), and The Bold and the Beautiful (BB). GH airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for air times.
