The General Hospital spoilers for May 17-21, 2021, tease an emotional farewell, an epic adventure, three expectant mamas facing a whole lotta drama, and so much more.
In the immediate lead up to a special episode that pays tribute to Sean Donely (John Reilly), Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) receives word that the great man, her friend, and former colleague (and sometimes foe) has died. She quickly spreads the word, beginning, of course, with Robert (Tristan Rogers).
Soon after, the exes, and other members of Sean and Tiffany’s (Sharon Wyatt) inner circle – including Mac (John J. York) and Felicia (Kristina Wagner), Robin Scorpio Drake (Kimberly McCullough), Bobbie Spencer (Jacklyn Zeman), and Laura (Genie Francis) – receive an invitation to attend Sean’s memorial service in Ireland.
Upon their arrival, the group is immediately drawn into a mystery involving Annie Donely (Caitlin Reilly), Sean and Tiffany’s daughter – a mystery that promises to have far-reaching and long-lasting repercussions.
After yet another scare with baby Louise, Maxie (Kirsten Storms) and Peter (Wes Ramsey) set about enacting their respective plans. To further her goal of giving birth and handing the baby over to Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton), Maxie insists that she’s going to an out-of-town spa to avoid all stressors.
Conversely, Peter – who’s planning to abscond with his daughter – attempts to talk Maxie out of traveling. When he sees that he isn’t getting anywhere, the crafty villain will then reverse course and insist that Maxie go on a relaxing trip…with “Nurse Chloe” (Kimberly J. Brown) as a chaperone.
Meanwhile, a pregnant Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) tries to put some space between her and Brando (Johnny Wactor), but he winds up having to come to her defense. Will he learn about her pregnancy?
In other Port Charles news, Carly (Laura Wright) arranges a meeting with Gladys (Bonnie Burroughs), and Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) calls Sam (Kelly Monaco) out on her actions.
Meanwhile, Sonny (Maurice Benard) makes a connection, a small victory reconfirms Alexis’s (Nancy Lee Grahn) decision, and T.J. (Tajh Bellow) reconnects with his father.
Finally, Cyrus (Jeff Kober) lets Laura know where they stand, Finn worries about Chase’s (Josh Swickard) well-being, and Olivia (Lisa LoCicero) is met by an unwanted house guest. General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
