General Hospital spoilers revealed that the show just finished off one baby switch story with little Wiley, and now it looks like they’re gearing up for another one! Whenever two women on a soap are pregnant at the same time, viewers had best beware.

General Hospital Spoilers Spec

Maxie (Kirsten Storms), it seems has been pregnant for decades now, while Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) should only be about five months along, but, if we go by the size of her bump, is either carrying quads – or is due next week. If both women go into labor at the same time, what can we expect to see?

Vengeance Is Mine, Sayeth Peter

Peter (Wes Ramsey) is very angry about a lot of things. He is angry at Maxie for cutting him out of her – and their unborn child’s – life. He is angry at Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) for delivering Peter to Faison (Anders Hove) all those years ago.

So what could kill more birds with one stone than Peter stealing his own child with Maxie, but putting Brook Lynn and Valentin’s offspring in her place? That way, Peter keeps his own daughter and deprives Maxie and Valentin of theirs.

Switch-A-Roo Specifics

Of course, if Peter goes through with the switch, rather than the mere snatch-and-grab route, he will need a third baby, either to pass off as an imposter of the Quartermaine/Ashton/Cassadine scion or to convince Valentin and Brook Lynn that their child died.

Perhaps Peter can turn to that handy black market which operates in all soap towns, which always has a handy, white newborn, just for such occasions.

An added bonus would be if the replacement baby is then paternity tested and discovered not to be Valentin’s. There goes the plan to get ELQ back in exchange!

The situation will certainly drive a lot of stories. But are the fans up for yet another baby merry-go-round? Let us know in the comments section below. General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
