Just as the Quartermaines won custody of Wiley on General Hospital, they were hit with the loss of ELQ to the devious Valentin. You win some, you lose some, right? Part of the reason for Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) assembling enough shares to take over the big chair was Sam (Kelly Monaco) signing away her kids’ shares. But another was Brook Lynn selling them to her manager… who turned out to be just a front for Valentin.
General Hospital Polling
Ned (Wally Kurth) went ballistic when he found out and tossed Brook Lynn out of the house – despite Olivia’s (Lisa LoCicero) objections. Did Ned go too far? What over 3,000 fans think:
Justice Is Served
The majority, 37%, are all-in on Team Ned. He had every right to be furious with his daughter for throwing her own family under a bus. She could have come to Ned and talked out the situation. Instead, she only thought of herself and what she wanted. Go get ‘er, Ned!
A True Q
Ned reacted like a true Quartermaine, 31% of the audience believe. He put the family name – and the precious company – ahead of the daughter he’s let down in the past, so why should he be surprised that she lets him down now? Ned is a true Quartermaine – never take responsibility for your own actions, but get damn cranky when someone else does the same.
Heat Of the Night
A slightly smaller 26% will agree that Ned’s response was over the top, but you expect him to cool down and reconsider at any moment. Quartermaines are always flying off the handle, saying things they mean in the moment, but not down the line. This, too, shall pass.
Hell to the No, Ned
Only 6% judge Ned’s action to be unforgivable. You don’t treat your daughter that way, especially when she was fooled, and didn’t do it deliberately. General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
