General Hospital spoilers for Thursday, October 8, 2020, reveal the return of loved ones and friends to say goodbye to a very special man. You won’t want to miss an emotional moment of this new episode.
It’s time to officially say goodbye to Mike (Max Gail) as Sonny (Maurice Benard) hosts a service to honor his late father. Sonny is startled to see a familiar face — but whose face is it? While we might be stunned to see Kristina (Lexi Ainsworth), she’s not exactly missing in Port Charles. Is it her, Dante, or could Ghost Courtney and his father be making another return?
That’s not it for the surprises in store. Ava (Maura West) surprises Carly (Laura Wright) with her kind words. This seems to be becoming a pattern as Ava is shocking her former enemies left and right. Did her experience with Ryan (Jon Lindstrom) make her realize that Sonny and Carly aren’t all that bad after all?
Michael (Chad Duell) gets a turn to stand before everyone and share his thoughts on the importance of family. But are his words really for his father or are they to help Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) fall for him so they’ll stay married and raise little Wiley together? That would certainly make Mike happy in the great beyond, right?
But Mike has even more family in town and finally, Brando (Johnny Wactor) will have his chance to discuss his Corbin roots as he reflects on the lessons he’s learned from Mike. Standing up for Dante’s (Dominic Zamprogna) side will be Olivia (Lisa LoCicero), who has her own memories of being around Sonny’s father back in the day. Better have tissues on hand!
Also on hand are Mike’s very special friends like Stella (Vernee Watson), who can speak to Mike’s strength and determination near the end while Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) is reminiscent. And when Jason (Steve Burton) speaks, expect Sonny and Carly to be moved. Goodbye, Mike. You affected so many in Port Charles. General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC.
