It’s been one year since Katelyn MacMullen’s character swept into Port Charles and found herself everywhere, including the actual General Hospital where the show is based, as well as the town’s elementary school, dating the top PCPD cop, as a runaway from the local cult, and the mother of the baby who died in Brad’s care at just a few months old.

Now, Willow no longer has her elementary school job, seems free of that cult, has a great relationship with her top cop, made up with her mother, and still thinks the baby she gave up for adoption to Brad and Lucas is still alive. That’s a year in the life of Willow and actress Katelyn MacMullen is grateful for giving the opportunity to bring this character alive.
“I can’t believe it’s been a year since I’ve joined this incredible cast! I love this show so much, and every single person involved. I’m so grateful. It’s been a pretty crazy ride for Willow so far, and I’ve enjoyed every second of it. Thank you!” she posted to Instagram.

Willow has become an integral part of the PC canvas with many speculating her contentious relationship with Nina means she is Nina’s real daughter, given up at birth by Nina’s mother, Madeline. While that may or may not be true, it gives more air of mystery behind the character.
For now, we just wait until Willow learns her baby dies as our heart breaks every time she holds Wiley and believes the little boy is hers and not Michael’s.
