General Hospital spoilers for Friday, May 29, 2020 reveal an emotionally changed episode of Nurses Ball past — May 5, 2015, to be exact. You won’t want to miss a second of this classic musical episode.

General Hospital Spoilers Highlights

After hearing the news from Nikolas (Tyler Christopher) that Jake (Billy Miller) is really a back-from-the-dead Jason, Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) is ready to shout it from the Nurses Ball stage. In fact, she bursts onto it to do just that — until she spots him standing right next to Carly (Laura Wright). Suddenly, her past — their past — will flash before her eyes.

A desire to keep him away from Carly and Sonny’s (Maurice Benard) grasp stops Liz from blurting out the truth and she runs from the ballroom. Nik will catch up to her and ask why she’s keeping quiet. Her explanation and what she plans to do with this bit of knowledge will shock him as he wonders if she can really behave this way. She begs him to keep quiet about Jason.

A Ghostly Visit

Spencer (Nicolas Bechtel), who is still at home watching the ball on television, gets a surprise visit from a loved one. His mother Courtney (Alicia Leigh Willis), who died giving birth to him, has sensed that her son needs her and the words of wisdom she shares will be exactly what Spencer needs to hear.

Duke (Ian Buchanan) acted the part in front of Anna (Finola Hughes) and Jordan (Vinessa Antoine), but once alone he ordered a hit on Jordan. After being convinced to let Duke know how she really feels, Anna goes to him and overhears his side of the phone call — and it isn’t good.

Patrick and Emma Take The Stage

The Nurses Ball isn’t just about the offstage drama — it’s about the music and emotions. Sam (Kelly Monaco) is enthralled watching Patrick (Jason Thompson) and Emma (Brooklyn Rae Silzer) sing together on stage. Watching Sam look at him lovingly lets Liz feel better about keeping the news of Jason’s return from her.

Other musical performances include Crazy Little Thing Called Love by Queen, performed by Ned as Eddie Maine (Wally Kurth); It Might Be You by Stephen Bishop, performed by Spinelli (Bradford Anderson); and the original song You’re Not Alone performed by Epiphany Johnson (Sonya Eddy) and Sabrina Santiago (Teresa Castillo). General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
