If you think you’ve seen the last of Duke Lavery on “General Hospital”–think again. It looks like Duke will return to Anna’s thoughts in a very visible nature next week, just as he did two weeks ago.
According to the June 6 issue of Soap Opera Digest, actor Ian Buchanan makes his second of two planned appearances in Port Charles.
Last May, Buchanan departed GH for the second time since the 1980s when Duke was shot and killed by Carlos Rivera (Jeffrey Vincent Parise). We thought Anna (Finola Hughes) killed Carlos soon after, but Carlos showed up alive and is now finally dead (we think) at the hands of Julian Jerome (William deVry).

When Carlos locked Anna in a large pier freezer two weeks ago, a delirious Anna dreamed of Duke and told him all about his never-before-heard-of-son, Griffin. Little did Anna know at the time Griffin is a priest and would be the padre who would give Carlos is last rites.
With Duke remaining dead and Buchanan making just two appearances, we can only guess Anna’s Scottish gent makes an appearance as a movie in her mind.
