Son-Rise: Is Nathan General Hospital’s (GH) Traitor?

So… because someone using Faison’s old nom de plume, PK Sinclair, submitted an unfinished manuscript the day before Original Recipe Jason broke out of his Russian holding pen, Jason and company think that means everything on General Hospital.

Then, Spinelli hacked in and stole the manuscript, used some magic software to predict how it would end, and the ending suggested that the Faison (Andres Hove) stand-in character will battle an enemy who will beat him and turn out to be his son, this means that Nathan (Ryan Pavey) might be “the traitor”–right?

You got that? Yeah, we didn’t think so. Here is what almost 8,000 faithful viewers feel is actually going on:

No Way, No How
Give us a break, moan 87% of you. First of all, how the heck is Nathan supposed to be Faison’s son? Obrecht (Kathleen Gatti) spent decades apologizing to the super-villain for having been disloyal and weak enough to present him with a measly daughter, Britt(a), instead of a fine, strapping son.

When she thought Ben/Rocco was Faison’s grandchild, she kidnapped the tot to present him to her on-again/off-again lover as a gift. So why, why, why would she have kept Nathan from him?

Obviously, Nathan isn’t Faison’s son, which means he isn’t the traitor. Full stop. Mic drop.

Who Knows What Evil Lurks In the Hearts of Men
If a DNA test said that Nathan is Faison’s son, then 12% of the audience is willing to play along. Anything is possible, maybe Nathan really is evil – and awfully good at hiding it.

What if he’s been working with his dad all along to bring down Jason (Steve Burton) and Sonny (Maurice Benard)? That can’t be allowed to happen! Who would be the moral conscience of Port Charles, then?

It’s up to the Corinthoses to save us all from, sure, Nathan!
