It’s celebration time for a group of daytime stars who were born in May. Soap Hub has compiled a list of all their birth dates, so you can send your favorite actors and actresses your best wishes via Twitter and Instagram. Or you could go the old-school route and mail them an actual card.
The month kicks off with General Hospital star Michael E. Knight, who plays Martin Grey, turning 62 on May 7. That same day, Days of our Lives alum, Peter Reckell, beloved always as Bo Brady, will turn 66. Not to be outdone, Robin Strasser, who last played Vivian on DAYS but is best known for playing Dorian on One Life to Live and originating the role of Rachel on Another World will turn 76.
The Bold and the Beautiful’s Alley Mills, who plays Forrester Creations secretary Pam, toasts a milestone. The actress turns 70 on May 9.
Over at The Young and the Restless, Victoria Rowell, remembered for her role as the fiery Drucilla, has a birthday, too. She’s turning 62 on May 10.
GH alum, Jonathan Jackson (ex-Lucky) will make everyone feel old as they learn he’ll be turning 39 on May 11.
On May 12, three beloved daytime leading ladies are going the cake and candles route. YR’s Beth Maitland (Traci) turns 63, while GH’s Rebecca Herbst (Elizabeth) turns 44, and DAYS’ Vanessa Williams (Valerie) turns 58.
Soap veteran Scott Reeves, who has appeared on all three networks, marks a big milestone on May 16 when he turns 55.
The celebrations continue for a quartet of GH actresses, past and present. Constance Towers, who portrayed the deliciously devious Helena Cassadine, rings in birthday number 88 on May 20. Next up, Kelly Monaco (Sam) blows out 45 candles on May 23, while Hillary B. Smith (ex-Nora) marks birthday number 64 on May 25, and Genie Francis (Laura) turns 58 on May 26.
BB’s Darin Brooks (Wyatt, BB; ex-Max, Days of our Lives) is toasting his special day, too. The actor turns 37 on May 27.
On May 28, DAYS star Emily O’Brien (Gwen) will blow out 36 candles on her birthday cake.
The month comes to a close with parties for two beloved performers. Days’ Billy Flynn (Chad) turns 36 on May 29. The very same day YR’s forever young Tracey Bregman (Lauren) turns 58. Soap Hub celebrates them all!
