So Long, Hayden (Again): Rebecca Budig Reportedly Out At General Hospital

Rebecca Budig only returned to General Hospital this past summer, but now it looks like her time on the soap is coming to yet another end.

According to Soaps.com, Budig is on her way out although no last airdate has been confirmed. However, A tweet from co-star William deVry confirmed the actual news when a fan asked if Hayden is leaving again and deVry answered that she indeed is.

Other Twitter rumors have her taping her last scenes in October, meaning Hayden is not long for Port Charles and we might see her final show (for now) any day.

Word is that General Hospital has left the door open for her return and Hayden will have to make a decision that will take her out of Port Charles in order to save daughter, Violet’s life. Something tells her Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) will be nudging her to make this decision in a Valentin sort of way.

Will Hayden fake her own death or just take off without a trace once again, something she is actually quite good at? And, does this have to do with the codicil to Mikkos’ will she’s been searching for since her summer return.

Some fans may be disappointed that we may not see the Anna/Hayden/Finn triangle play out now that Finola Hughes has returned from her extended vacation. But, this leaves Anna and Finn with their own storyline as they will likely take in Violet and deal with all that involves in their relationship.

There was never any word as to whether Budig had returned to the soap long-term this summer, and now we guess we know why, as this seems to have always been planned as a short story arc visit. General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
