Last General Hospital fans saw of Lulu Spencer Falconeri, she was in a coma and being shipped out of Port Charles to a facility where she was expected to remain unconscious indefinitely. But this is a soap opera. Comas – like death – are a temporary state of inconvenience.

This is Luke Spencer (Anthony Geary) and Laura Collins’s (Genie Francis) daughter we’re talking about, 62% of the audience reminds. She was born and grew up on the air! Of course, she should get back to Port Charles. Not just because of whose child she is, but because of whose mother she is. Charlotte (Scarlett Fernandez) and Rocco need her. And so does Dante.
General Hospital: Raise the Stakes
Lulu should definitely return, 22% of the fans agree, but it needs to be more dramatic. Which means Dante needs to fall deeper in love with Sam. Or…you know, at all. Sure, the couple is kind of dull now. But if Lulu’s return is to escape the same fate, Dante and Sam need to get a whole lot more interesting…before Lulu adds to that.

No Room at the Inn
We’re good, a last-place 16% shrug. Port Charles is full of people that we don’t see nearly enough of. You’d rather those players got their day in the sun before Lulu was brought back to pull focus.
We’re not saying her story wouldn’t have its appeal but now isn’t the time. Plus, the Spencers just ain’t who they used to be in the grand scheme of things. Luke is gone. Lucky is gone. Lucas is gone. Bobbie (Jacklyn Zeman) and Laura are hardly ever on. The whole town has sadly moved on without them.
