The General Hospital recap features Nina Reeves making a big move that will soon change everything.
Nina made sure Sonny got ready for Willow’s wedding in time, then called Martin to make sure he was doing what she wanted him to do. The Quartermaines welcomed Tracy back into the fold and she offered to do anything she could to help Willow. As for Willow, well she found a new person to walk her down the aisle since Drew has to save the world from Thanos…we mean Victor. Diane was not happy to see Holly arrive back in Robert’s life, but at least Holly had some information about Victor that Robert and Anna could use. Now, let’s dig a little deeper into the details.
Nina (Cynthia Watros) was surprised when Sonny asked her to take a luxury island vacation but told him no because she knew it was just to distract her from the pain of not being invited to Willow’s (Katelyn MacMullen) wedding. Sonny (Maurice Benard) still tried to convince her, but it was a no-go in Nina’s mind.

Sonny soon thanked Nina for convincing him to go to the wedding, apparently clueless as to how much his presence there would hurt her. He was just impressed that Nina was putting her feelings aside for Willow’s sake. Remembering her fight with Carly (Laura Wright) the night before, Nina urged Sonny not to think of her as a saint because she is not. It’s good that Nina has this self-awareness other characters lack.
Sonny continued to talk about the wedding, prompting Nina to go off on the Quartermaines and ELQ. She then blurted out the words “Drew and Carly,” so Sonny wanted to know what she was talking about. Nina covered for herself and didn’t mention she knew about Carly’s little insider trading problems as Sonny reminded her that their relationship was more important than anything Carly and Drew (Cameron Mathison) were doing.
Finally, Sonny left the room as Nina tried to put on a brave face, telling him all she wanted was to see some pictures of her daughter getting married. Once Sonny was gone, Nina showed her impulsive nature is still intact by putting in a call to Martin (Michael E. Knight). She wondered if he had a conversation with the SEC about Carly and Drew. When Martin asked if she changed her mind, Nina told him nope, she wanted Martin to go all-in.
In the Q living room, everyone assembled for the wedding was surprised to see Tracy (Jane Elliot) strut in as if it were her family home or something. As she received some varied welcomes, Tracy noticed someone who did not belong and bluntly asked what the heck Carly was doing in Monica’s (Leslie Charleson) house.
Carly smugly told her she was invited and wondered if Tracy was. Tracy responded that this was her house, and then all assembled spouted off Monica’s line that it was not, it was Monica’s house because Alan gave it to her. Ned (Wally Kurth) just assumed his mother was there for the ELQ crisis, but Tracy announced she wanted nothing to do with ELQ ever again. Instead, she bragged about rescuing Ethan (James Ryan). Tracy also offered commentary when she learned Michael (Chad Duell) and Willow were getting married, as she pointed out how their first union was a bust.
The conversation turned somber when Michael told Tracy that the bride was dying from leukemia, so this would be a proverbial deathbed wedding. Tracy was horrified and insisted she would call in any favors she had in case there was another miracle cure for Willow that did not involve Liesl’s (Kathleen Gati) coveted bone marrow.
Over at the gatehouse, Willow wistfully stared at the wedding ring she planned to give Michael and explained to Wiley how important his job as ring bearer is. Wiley was quite excited about his job, but then Carly got another job when she told Willow that Drew couldn’t give her away. Never fear, Carly is here, and she will now be the maid of honor and the one to give away the bride.
Robert (Tristan Rogers) was absolutely thrilled when Holly (Emma Samms) showed up at his office door, but Diane (Carolyn Hennesy) most certainly was not. Holly tried to play nice as Diane acted incredulous that she would even be there. Robert learned that Felicia (Kristina Wagner) and Holly managed to free Ethan (James Ryan), along with Tracy’s help.
Diane interrupted to point out she had no burns and looked fantastic. She finally managed to figure out that the cabin explosion was all a ruse and that Robert was involved in the whole thing. Robert and Holly both apologized for duping her, but Diane wasn’t quick to forgive.
Once alone, Holly questioned Robert about what she interrupted. He told her they were having dinner together the night before, but it was clear Robert only had eyes for Holly. Then, they got down to business as Holly asked Robert to take her to see Anna so she could apologize for setting her up for Lucy’s shooting — and let them both know what Ethan told her about Victor (Charles Shaughnessy).
When Robert walked into Anna’s room with Holly, she was not at all thrilled to see Holly but was cordial and kind. Holly offered Anna a mea culpa and apologies, and Anna came around with a smile. She has been backed into corners to protect her loved ones, as well, and knew what Holly was going through. When Anna informed both Robert and Holly where Valentin was, Holly finally revealed what Ethan told her — that Victor plans to revive a technology the Cassadines developed back in the 1980s.
Before Robert arrived, Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) popped in to pay a visit to Anna (Finola Hughes). She had received a strange and cryptic text from Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) and wanted to know what it was all about. Anna informed her that Valentin left with Laura (Genie Francis) and her crew to find Victor and his hostages. Alexis let Anna see Valentin’s message, asking her to take care of Charlotte if anything happened to him since she was the executor of his will.
Seeing the text made Anna feel more powerless than ever. When Alexis told Anna she now felt Valentin was one of the good Cassadines, Anna admitted that she believed they had changed each other for the better.
Alexis soon left Anna’s room when Diane sent her an urgent text. The two women met at Charlie’s, and Diane vented about her sad love life. Diane finally told her this was all about kissing Robert the night before, as well as the second potential kiss that Holly walked in on. Alexis tried to make Diane feel better about things, pointing out that Robert and Holly had not been together for years, but Diane was still miffed about the whole situation.
