The 2023 Daytime Emmy Awards will be releasing their nominations on Wednesday at 12 pm ET/9 am PT, but there was a huge announcement on Tuesday evening about one of the major categories.
Daytime Emmys Come Early
The official Daytime Emmys Twitter account revealed, “The full list of #DaytimeEmmys nominations won’t be out until 12p ET / 9a PT tomorrow, but you can get a sneak peek at FIVE special categories by tuning in TONIGHT to @etnow @accesshollywood @extratv and @enews!”
So what was revealed? Apparently, Outstanding Lead Actress and Outstanding Lead Actor — and the nominees are:
Outstanding Lead Actress
Sharon Case, Sharon on The Young and the Restless
Melissa Claire Egan, Chelsea on The Young and the Restless
Finola Hughes, Anna on General Hospital
Michelle Stafford, Phyllis on The Young and the Restless
Jacqueline MacInnes Wood, Steffy on The Bold and the Beautiful
Outstanding Lead Actor
