The General Hospital recap features Victor Cassadine going off the rails, but at least his plan is coming together.

General Hospital Recap Highlights

In this episode, Liesl walked into a magic box but did not walk out. Brook Lynn finally came clean about Linc for all to hear while Gladys tried to play a dirty trick on Cody. Trina was not happy with the way Spencer talked to Dex and let him know it. Victor also had a goon make contact with Spencer while he held Anna and Valentin at gunpoint and then pulled the trigger. Now, let’s dig a little deeper into the details.

Victor Cassadine Means Business, So Does BLQ

Singer Danielle Ponder was the first musical act up, and Carly (Laura Wright) fangirled after it was over since she didn’t seem to have much else to do at the ball.

Finn (Michael Easton) then took his turn with the mic to introduce Chase (Josh Swickard) and Blaze (Jacqueline Grace Lopez). After their performance, Linc (Dan Buran) rushed to the stage, followed by Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton), who told him to keep his hands off her. She then grabbed the mic and exposed Linc for who he is, a man who latches onto young women, telling them he will make them a star just so he can take advantage of them sexually. She refused to keep silent anymore and called Linc a sexual predator in front of everyone.

Linc defended himself, but then a hysterical Blaze got on her mic and cried that BLQ was not lying, and he took sexual advantage of her as well. Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) then took to the stage to take Linc off it as the audience applauded. Brook Lynn was also a hero earlier in the night when she ‘accidentally’ spilled a drink on Linc to get him away from Josslyn (Eden McCoy).

When all was calm again, Nina (Cynthia Watros) introduced Georgie and James to the stage to perform a magic show with Grandma Liesl (Kathleen Gati) as their assistant. Maxie (Kirsten Storms) and Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) looked on with pride, as did Mac (John J. York) and Felicia (Kristina Wagner), meaning we had to wonder who was watching little Bailey Lou. When Georgie and James had Liesl enter the magic vanishing box, she vanished for real. When they tried to demonstrate Liesl had reappeared, she was still gone.

Soon, we saw that Victor’s (Charles Shaughnessy) goons had loaded her into a car trunk like a common Valentin. Remember when Victor did that to his own son last year?

General Hospital Recap: Victor Cassadine Has Deadly Trouble For Vanna

Anna (Finola Hughes), Valentin (James Patrick Stuart), and Lucy (Lynn Herring) ran right back into the safe house as soon as Anna saw Valentin was a target, but bullets pierced the windows, and they were trapped. Anna convinced Lucy to run out the back door and get help, but she wouldn’t leave Valentin’s side when he told her to run.

Victor’s goons moved in with rifles, and Vanna had to surrender just as Victor walked in and feigned surprise that Valentin was alive — for about 10 seconds. Valentin tried to reason with Victor to no avail. All he wanted was that necklace, but the real one is not with them. Victor taunted Valentin and told him he got him into the WSB and that Valentin accomplished nothing without him. He was furious that he was rejected by his own son and then had to feel the guilt of thinking that Valentin was dead.

Valentin taunted Victor and told him no Cassadine even cares about his grand plan, and that included him, Spencer (Nicholas Alexander Chavez), Nikolas (Adam Huss), and The Davis Girls.

Victor ordered his goon to grab Anna’s neck and said he would have her killed or injured unless they gave up the necklace. Valentin insisted he didn’t have the necklace but finally gave it up. Victor was pleased but decided he would shoot Anna anyway and pulled the trigger with the gun aimed at her chest.

General Hospital Recap: Trina Is Angry, Gladys Is Sneaky

Spencer spotted Dex (Evan Hofer) in the lobby and started in with him just in time for Trina (Tabyana Ali) to overhear her boyfriend, giving Josslyn’s boyfriend a hard time. Trina was horrified that Spencer called Dex an employee and told him she was wrong and that he hadn’t changed. Josslyn witnessed the whole scene and told Spencer he has caused her and Trina nothing but misery since returning to Port Charles. Spencer was later curious when one of Victor’s henchmen approached him about being in the right place at a specified time, per Victor’s request.

Cody (Josh Kelly) kindly offered Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) a drink while he also flirted with her a bit. He then made a point of asking how things went after learning Gladys (Bonnie Burroughs) sold Brando’s garage. Sasha said she understood why she sold the garage, but Cody wanted to know if Gladys even told her who she sold the garage to. That’s when Gladys interrupted the conversation to tell Cody that Dante was asking for him.

Once alone, Gladys then asked Sasha if she was okay before warning her that Cody could not be trusted. She brought up both Britt and the necklace, making sure Sasha would wonder if Cody was getting friendly with her for her money. In her determination to smear Cody, Gladys took advantage of Sasha being distracted by a performance to sneak away from the table. She ended up backstage and planted her borrowed diamond bracelet in the jacket Cody was to wear for the Magic Milo act.
