The GH spoilers recap for Monday, March 14, 2022, features Harrison Chase and Brook Lynn Quartermaine dancing around their feelings once again — with a little singing involved, as well.
They may have kissed a few weeks ago, but that’s all out the window now for Chase (Josh Swickard) and Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) as if it never happened. In fact, when Chase stopped by the Quartermaine mansion with some of Brook’s things, they chalked it up to playing house with Bailey and getting carried away with things as they kept repeating the word “friends” whenever they could.
Brook then had a freak-out moment when she thought Chase read her songbook that Violet Finn found when she was sleeping over. Chase convinced her to let him see it, and that’s where the romance began. Chase took a page of her lyrics and gave it a melody, singing it out loud to her as the audience swooned from the utter sweetness of it all. Of course, BLQ kept her cool, but when Chase told her if she ever needs a reminder of how great she is, she knows where to find him. And Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) gave this up for Michael Corinthos Quartermaine (Chad Duell)?
Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) wasn’t quite prepared for the wrath of Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright), but she used it to her advantage. As Carly told the crazed young woman that she is onto her, Esme tried to bolt but Carly grabbed her arm. That’s when she spotted Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) and turned on the waterworks to make the whole thing seem worse than it was. Nikolas took Esme to the hospital where she had a bruised wrist, but it was vague as to whether she did it to herself or not. Either way, Nik fell for her whole act.
Back at the Metro Court, when Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) made herself scarce, Carly called in the big guns — Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennessy).
Over at Spring Ridge, Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) accused Cameron Webber (Will Lipton) of making the recording, but Cam placed the blame on Esme and figured out exactly how she did it. Spencer believed his old friend and the two made up.
Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) was surprised when Selina Wu (Lydia Look) walked into The Savoy like she owned the place. She had a proposition for him about using his backroom for a perfectly legal high-stakes poker game once a month with big-time players who would owe her their gratitude, rather than money. That is how she told Curtis she’d keep things on the up and up. She’d even have a family member oversee everything.
That family member really wants to work at GH again and told Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) just that. Britt wasn’t sure if she could go to bat for Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) but said she would see what she could do because Brad really wants out from under the watchful eye of his aunt.
