GH Spoilers Recap For July 25: Josslyn Records Sonny In The Mobster Act

The GH spoilers recap for Monday, July 25, 2022, features Josslyn Jacks getting a reality check when she comes across quite a scene with Sonny Corinthos.

Sonny’s (Maurice Benard) plan to make sure Felty (Brian Norris) never tries to hurt Sasha Gilmore Corbin (Sofia Mattsson) again with drugs or anything else came to a screeching halt inside a warehouse staircase when Josslyn (Eden McCoy) announced she was recording the whole thing. Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) had to stop beating Felty to a pulp as Sonny did his best to talk Josslyn out of going to the police with the recording.

Josslyn wanted to know why she should. After all, Sonny didn’t care about the family and made her mom sad, which is a good reason for Carly’s children to want revenge on Sonny, apparently.

After Sonny walked away, Dex had a long talk with Joss and explained that he was only trying to scare the man who sold Sasha pills and that putting Sonny in jail would put him in jail too. Somehow Josslyn was moved by this speech and deleted the recording.

Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) didn’t even want to think about her troubles as she, Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison), Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell), and Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) celebrated Willow’s pregnancy. Then, Sonny barged in to try to convince Carly to have a talk with her daughter. Carly said she wasn’t interested and when the night calmed down, and they were alone, she and Drew shared a kiss.

General Hospital Recap: Another Close Call For Esme

Before he completely passed out, Oz Haggerty (Max Faugno) managed to tell Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) that a female gave him something to drink that put him in his condition. After Curtis called for help, Oz coded at the hospital, but TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) brought him back. When Esme later called the nurses’ station to check on her “dad,” she was told he was in a coma. Esme was then pleased.

Over at the Metro Court, Esme called Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) away from her family and told him she needs to tell the truth about their affair. Nikolas stopped her by promising to get her back into Spring Ridge. Didn’t they do this before? While Nikolas dealt with Esme. Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) told Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) all about what happened in court.

GH Spoilers Recap: Valentin Lies Through His Teeth To Anna

Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) met for a private date at the Metro Court pool, and Anna finally confronted Valentin about why he lied about his time in the rehab facility. That prompted Valentin to lie some more and tell her that he had a spinal infection that required rehab.

He said had to put Charlotte Cassadine in boarding school because he felt she was in danger from old enemies while he was down and out. He also didn’t want Anna reminded of when he had Spina Bifida during WSB training when they first met.

Anna didn’t look like she bought everything Valentin was saying. However, since she wanted to believe him, her heart turned to mush when Valentin told her that he has strong feelings for her but that he also knows he is going to lose her one day.
