GH Spoilers Recap For July 15: Carly Says Her Final Goodbyes To The Metro Court

The GH spoilers recap for Friday, July 15, 2022, features Carly Corinthos packing up her things and Nina Reeves planning for the future.

GH Spoilers Recap Highlights

Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) showed up with his big, bright smile to help Carly (Laura Wright) clear out her office at the Metro Court and a sentimental Carly went through old photos and remembered her time owning her hotel. Sentimental Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) then showed up with flowers after telling Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) that she would sue her to make sure she can’t own the other half of a business that once belonged to Carly.

When Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) learned that Nina was keeping the Metro Court, he asked her if she just wanted to stick it to Carly and she assured him that was not the truth. Maybe his ex-wife shouldn’t have turned down her offer. Later, Nina noticed when Sonny seemed concerned about Carly as he watched her leave the Metro Court alongside Drew with a sad face and boxes in hand. Neither one of them knew that Carly was really thinking about the fact that Nina is Willow Tait’s (Katelyn MacMullen) mother.

General Hospital Recap: Operation Save Trina Rides Again

Now that it’s finally time for Trina Robinson’s (Tabyana Ali) trial, people have finally sprung into action to save the poor girl from jail. Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) and Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett) tracked down the man who sold the black market phone to Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) and warned him he must testify. He then headed to Spoon Island to demand money from Esme.

Curtis and Marshall knew he went there and Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) got in on the action and tried to listen in, but when her phone rang, Esme and her blackmailer heard and covered their tracks. Later, Ava offered Esme money to sign a confession, but Esme refused. When they were alone, Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) told Esme that he has something she really wants and it was not money.

Back at the Ashford-Robinson house, Trina finally told Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) that she was with Spencer at his mother’s grave when the sex video was released and Josslyn said if she has to, she will out Trina’s alibi.

Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) also got emotional with Stella Henry (Vernee Watson) when she told her that she believes Esme targeted Trina to take the fall because she is African-American and in this world, African-Americans often end up behind bars for crimes they didn’t commit.

GH Spoilers Recap: Is Laura Being Set Up?

Laura Collins (Genie Francis) was shocked when she learned that Lesley Webber’s Italian home burned down and Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) offered her his private plane to fly there and help her. Laura wasn’t sure if she should go with so much happening in Port Charles, but Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) convinced her this was the right thing to do.
