The GH recap for Monday, November 21, 2022, features Britt Westbourne hearing the news she expected to hear, but that doesn’t mean it wasn’t hard.
In this episode, Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) learned what the rest of her life will be like, Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) and Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) shared a passionate moment, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) let Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) in on a secret, and Holly Sutton (Emma Samms) confessed all to Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers). Now, let’s dig a little deeper into the details.
While Britt was sure that the Huntington’s Disease gene she was carrying was making its presence known, she was not prepared for the news she received from the specialist. As Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth) sat with her for moral support, Britt learned that she may have been exhibiting symptoms years ago when she was on the run with Cesar Faison (Anders Hove) and then serving time for aiding and abetting her criminal father.
The doctor also concluded that her diagnosis, when on the run with Jason Morgan (Steve Burton), may have not been complete because she didn’t reveal her entire medical history. Britt was devastated to learn she had stage 3 Huntington’s and might need assisted living accommodations within 18 months.
Once alone, an enraged Britt trashed her office and ended up on the floor holding that diamond and ruby necklace when a confused Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) walked in.
After giving Holly a false lead on Anna Devane’s (Finola Hughes) whereabouts and watching the cops react to an anonymous tip, Robert demanded Holly tell him how long she has been working with Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy). A tearful Holly launched into the sad tale of how she was investigating Victor in Monte Carlo and was caught. Victor then shot and killed her sister, Poloma, right in front of her. He placed Holly’s wedding ring on Poloma’s hand, faked some dental records, and made it look as if Holly was dead.

We also learned that Holly was likely the woman we heard screaming in a cell near Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) last year when Victor still held him prisoner. Victor finally set Holly free to do his dirty work and distract Robert by shooting Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) and setting up Anna to take the fall while wearing a prosthetic mask. Thankfully, Holly revealed that Lucy was not dead and instead is being held captive by Victor. Holly’s son, Ethan Lovett (Nathan Parsons), has also been kidnapped by Victor, and that is what he is holding over Holly’s head.
Holly later forced Robert to leave her on the pier when Victor texted her to say he was on his way. When he got there, he told Holly he had a new assignment for her.
Josslyn was not happy at all when Dex announced he felt well enough to leave her dorm room. She tried to talk him out of it, but he insisted, so she managed to steal him some clothing and help him get dressed. Then, they fell into a passionate kiss that Dex said never should have happened.
Meanwhile, Sonny was still curious as to what Carly and Brick (Stephen A. Smith) were doing together, so Brick quickly texted Carly and told her Sonny was getting some wild ideas as to what was going on between them. Carly made her way over to Sonny’s office and told him she was seeing Drew, but due to an insider trading situation, they needed to keep that info a secret, and Brick was helping her delete any digital footprints.
While Sonny was happy to learn Carly was moving on, they were both shocked when Brick walked in with Dex. Sonny demanded to know where he was, and Dex told him all about getting shot while leaving out the Josslyn part. Later, when Carly returned to Joss’s dorm room, she told her Dex headed straight to Sonny’s, and Josslyn looked like she was about to cry.
