The GH recap for Friday, November 18, 2022, features Anna Devane and Valentin Cassadine planning an escape for one while also enjoying some alone time.

GH Recap Highlights

In this episode, Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) and Anna (Finola Hughes) shared some stolen moments, Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) played a trick on Holly Sutton (Emma Samms), Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) caught onto Cody Bell’s (Josh Kelly) game, Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth) tried to help Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud), and Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) had a warning for Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms). Now, let’s dig a little deeper into the details.

Anna was alarmed when she heard someone at the door and like any good super spy, she had her gun drawn in seconds. She was then relieved and thrilled that the person at the door was Valentin Cassadine. Sadly, Valentin told her that she would have to leave the safe house because there was no way to clear her name without Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) finding her when she was so close to Port Charles.

The pair shared some stolen moments and made love on the couch before Anna’s car arrived to take her to the airport so she could fly off to parts unknown. However, Anna had to get in a few more kisses before she really left.

General Hospital Recap: Robert Sets Up Holly

Over breakfast at the Metro Court, Holly planted a big, wet kiss on Robert, and while he enjoyed it, he also had a job to do. He casually mentioned that he heard from Anna the night before and then took a call and asked someone to text him the address of Anna’s safe house.

Holly caused a distraction, got the address from the text, and promptly made an excuse to leave. She then met Victor at the pier and told him where Anna was. Miraculously, the U.S. Marshal who had been tracking Valentin and lost him, got the tip. Laura Collins (Genie Francis), who had just told Victor she would take him apart, was now at the Port Charles Police Department and heard the whole phone call. She did her job and alerted Mac Scorpio (John J. York) and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) to the tip about Anna’s whereabouts and a whole team headed out to find her.

As most viewers could tell, this was all a trick and Holly led everyone to an empty house. Later, Robert found a visibly-shaken Holly on the pier and told her she needed to start talking.

GH Recap: Sam Has It Figured Out, Britt Is A Hot Mess

Sam was curious when Damian told her that Cody had a juvenile arrest record, but he could not access the details. Later, Sam gave a hungover Britt an update on the necklace with Cody right there. She informed them that it was in Leopold Taub’s (Chip Lucia) will, but that doesn’t mean Cesar Faison (Anders Hove) hadn’t bought it from him.

When Austin arrived to take Britt aside and tell her that he found a specialist to give her some Huntington Disease answers, Sam confronted Cody with the truth. She had no doubt he made Spinelli pair him with Britt on Society Setups because he was after the necklace all along. When Cody mentioned Dante also isn’t squeaky clean, Sam paused and asked Spinelli to stop digging into that juvenile record. Britt returned and talked alone with Cody about the necklace with pieces of the Ice Princess just as Victor was outside, listening.

Spinelli also had a busy day talking with Maxie as she asked him to convince Georgie that Austin isn’t so bad. That’s when Spinelli told her that something doesn’t ring true about Austin. Spinelli was further suspicious when Austin once again asked him to see if he and Maxie were the perfect match.
