The GH recap for Thursday, December 15, 2022, features another death in Port Charles as The Hook strikes once again.
GH Recap Highlights
In this episode, Officer Rory Cabrera (Michael Blake Kruse) learned the dangers of going above and beyond in the line of duty. Plus, Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) nearly confessed all her feelings, as Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) made a not-so-true confession to Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West). Also, Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) talked out her problems with Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco), while Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) expressed his sad man pain. Now, let’s dig a little deeper into the details.
As soon as Rory walked into the apartment where he thought he would find The Hook, he drew his gun, shot it, and got hooked anyway, while a random man nobody seemed to care about lay dead on the floor. Rory could only assume that The Hook escaped through the window. When Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) arrived on the scene, they oddly chose to take him to the hospital themselves and seemed to literally drag his limp body there.

As Finn got to work on the stab wound, he told Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) to administer the anti-venom serum, but she was hesitant because she wasn’t sure this was really The Hook’s doing. After all, as far as Liz knew, she and Nikolas had the killer locked in a tower at Wyndemere.
While all this was going on with Rory, Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) got the heck out of Kelly’s, and Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) chastised Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) for decking him. Spencer said he thought Dex had hurt Joss and was just defending her. Later, Trina showed up at Kelly’s and saw Spencer sitting outside. He explained he did something wrong once again and was going to leave town because he knew nobody really cared about him the way he cares for some others. He also admitted he hides his head in shame due to hurting so many people.
Trina was just about to tell Spencer how she felt about him when Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) came along to bring her and the other members of the younger set to GH at Jordan’s behest. Trina was devastated to hear about Rory and lost it when Rory took off his oxygen mask to tell her he was not sorry he confessed his love for her. Then, he flatlined, and that seemed to be the end of Rory.

General Hospital Recap: Nikolas Embraces Liz’s Big Lie
Ava seemed happy when Nikolas showed up at the gallery to tell her how beautiful she was and how much he loved her. She was then shocked when Nikolas presented her with divorce papers. He then went all in on Elizabeth’s big lie and confessed to his wife that he had another affair and Liz was now pregnant with his child.
That caused Ava to grab a letter opener and make Nikolas believe she was going to stab him, but she only stabbed the divorce papers and pierced the wall. Nikolas explained that he already screwed up parenting one child and he needed to be there for the one on the way. He just didn’t mention that Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) is gestating that future Cassadine by the name of Ace.
GH Recap: Maxie Laments, So Does Finn
Before Rory was brought into GH, Finn expressed his man pain to Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison). His dad knew something had to be wrong because Violet Finn could feel her daddy’s sadness. Finn admitted that he and Elizabeth were done for good, and Gregory told Finn to follow his heart.
Finally, Maxie Jones spent her second day in a row in the same coffee house, telling people all about how Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth) betrayed her. This time it was Sam McCall who listened. Sam had to tell Maxie she never really trusted Austin, but he wasn’t actually Peter-level bad, which is definitely true. Still, Maxie admitted that all the red flags were there, and she had to evaluate her life and who she wanted to spend it with.
