The General Hospital recaps for June 20 – June 24, 2022, feature fire being fought with fire and several characters wind up getting burned.
Without giving away the true reason for the request, Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) asks Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) for his help in locating Esme Prince’s (Avery Kristen Pohl) birth parents; Victor agrees… Laura Collins (Genie Francis) tells Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) that she suspects the bounty on their heads originated with Victor and share with him her plan to have Victor deported. Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) phones Laura with an ominous warning.

York) is put out to learn that Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) confronted and admonished Ryan Chamberlin (Jon Lindstrom)… Esme asks Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) several pointed questions about Ryan. He warns her to keep her distance. After hearing from Felicia that Esme had been in Ryan’s hospital room, he works to have Esme’s internship at Spring Ridge terminated; Esme is livid.

Laura’s nearest and dearest get to work uncovering the person behind the effort to have her recalled as Mayor of Port Charles. All roads lead back to Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober), but he insists that he didn’t spearhead the campaign. Laura forgives her brother for the part that he did play in the push, and readies herself for another election…
Curtis and Jordan discuss Cyrus’s transfer back to Pentonville. Neither are particularly pleased… Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) proposes to Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati), but she declines. Why bring legalities into something as beautiful as their love affair?

A call to remove Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) as CEO of ELQ is made. The proxy votes are read out. Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) and Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) vote to remove Valentin. Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) stuns the assemblage by voting to keep Valentin. Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) does likewise… Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) suffers a dizzy spell.
Cody Bell’s (Josh Kelly) interest is piqued when he learns that Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) is the daughter of Cesar Faison (Anders Hove)… Linc Brown (Dan Buran) makes it clear that he wants Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) fired from the PCPD.
Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) tells Olivia Falconeri Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) that she sold her interest in the Metro Court and used the cash to purchase shares in Aurora Media. When Olivia blanches, Carly assures her that she’ll be able to buy it back once the merger between Aurora and ELQ is approved. Opposite this, Valentin ixnays the proposal.
