This Day In General Hospital History: The Recap For Friday, June 21, 2019

In this retro General Hospital recap, it’s June 21, 2019, and the Corinthos family is about to grow by one. And just like that, Josslyn Jacks has a new obsession. If you’ll remember, it doesn’t end well.

General Hospital Retro Recap Highlights

While Dev (Ashton Arbab) eats them out of house and home, Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) wondered what they are going to do with the young man.

Sonny tracked down Robert Scorpio (who had just threatened to dismember Jax’s brother Jerry Jacks) to ask for his help only to learn that Robert had been forced to retire from the WSB and was in no position to lend assistance.

Back at the house, Josslyn (Eden McCoy) eavesdropped as Carly tried to get Dev to open up and she learned about the adventure that he, Sonny, and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) had in Turkey.

Sonny returned with the news that Dev would remain a part of the household — at least through the summer — and his cover story is that he is a visiting cousin named Devin.

Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) and Jax (Ingo Rademacher) had a less than cordial business meeting and Nina threatened to walk from the magazine. But, she didn’t really mean it.

General Hospital Recap For June 21, 2019: For She’s A Jolly Good Fellow

Lulu Falconeri (Emme Rylan), Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst), and Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) joined Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) in her classroom to offer any assistance she might need in getting things ready for the end-of-school awards ceremony. They also presented her with some gifts and kind words.

Diane Miler (Carolyn Hennesy) called Willow and warned her to arrive at the courthouse early so they could prep for her case but Willow chose to stay at the school for the ceremony, which ran late. She tried to hurry out but the parents insist she stay for one final surprise. At the courthouse, the judge made his displeasure at Willow’s absence known.

General Hospital Retro Recap: Undercover Agent

After much hesitation and even more prodding, Curtis Ashford (Donnel Turner) accepted Valentin Cassadine’s (James Patrick Stuart) assignment to dig up dirt on Jax and began by telling Jax he was accepting Drew Cain’s offer to join Aurora Media as the security adviser.
