The General Hospital recap for June 1-5, 2020, features a nostalgic look back at three fundraising galas replete with musical performances and tons of high drama.
General Hospital Recap Highlight
According to Lucy (Lynn Herring), the Nurses Ball is about love and support for a worthy cause and for each other. And according to Julian (William deVry), pretty much anything can happen at the event.
Four Years Ago
The year 2016 wasn’t a good one as far as Nurses Balls go. There was a thwarted wedding, a serial killer attempting to claim two victims – though Bobbie (Jacklyn Zeman) and Lucas (Ryan Carnes) were spared death – and Hayden (Rebecca Budig) desperate to save her own skin from a murder-minded Nikolas (Tyler Christopher).
Busy, Busy Night
But that’s not to say 2017 was even better. In fact, that Nurses Ball was infiltrated by ghosts. The evil and we presume dead (though you can never really tell for sure) Helena Cassadine (Constance Towers) continued to haunt Jake (Hudson West) and insist that he perform his magic trick – which would consist of him unleashing a deadly biotoxin into the ballroom!
And then there was Morgan (Bryan Craig). His spirit loomed large over the proceedings thanks to Sonny (Maurice Benard) uncovering the fact that his lithium pills had been substituted with placebos. He and Carly (Laura Wright) immediately suspected Ava (Maura West). Even when estranged, these two can agree on their hatred of this woman.
Guess Who?
One year later, there was a question on everybody’s lips: Who Is Henrik? Sam (Kelly Monaco) took the opportunity provided by the ongoing ball to search the office of her number one suspect – Peter August (Wes Ramsey). And sure enough, she found concrete, irrefutable proof. A cigarette lighter with the initials CF. If that didn’t prove that Peter was Cesar Faison’s son nothing would.
Of course, Sam could have just asked Anna (Finola Hughes). The former whip-smart secret agent is sure that the baddie is her biological child. But, then again, Finn (Michael Easton) is sure that Anna is dying because he saw her Last Will and Testament so everybody makes mistakes. General Hospital airs weekdays on ABC.
