The General Hospital recap for Thursday, June 4, 2020, features a continued look back at the 2017 Nurses Ball. The last of the performers took to the stage, Sonny and Carly uncovered Ava’s wrongdoing, and Jake allowed himself to be influenced by the dead.

General Hospital Recap Highlights

Sonny (Maurice Benard) told Carly (Laura Wright) about the placebo residue found inside Morgan’s (Bryan Craig) pill bottle. They managed to get Lucy (Lynn Herring) admit that Ava (Maura West) had that bottle and both realized that Ava had tampered with their son’s medication.

But why would she do something so hideous? Gasp! “That evil bitch…wanted Morgan away from Kiki.” The hunt was on for Miss Jerome but luckily Scotty (Kin Shriner) was able to warn her about the oncoming mob. Ava got her fake passport and cash and prepared to flee but the Corinthoses caught her in the act!

Back to the Song and Dance Portion of the Show

Inside the ballroom, “Eddie Maine” (Wally Kurth) and Olivia (Lisa LoCicero) delighted the crowd with their take on George Michael’s Faith. Then it was Dillon (Robert Palmer Watkins) and Kiki (Hayley Erin) performing Modern Love.

The Kids (Especially Jake Webber) Are Not All Right

Jake (Hudson West) managed to stop Charlotte (Scarlett Fernandez) and Emma (Brooklyn Rae Silzer) from opening the Chimera but the incident upset the girls. It also offered opportunities for Lulu (Emme Rylan) and Nina (Michelle Stafford) to spar and for the latter to have a nice moment with Valentin (James Patrick Stuart).

Nina complimented him on his singing and he said it was all for her. Furthermore, he was going to keep working until he won her back. Once the adults took their leave, Jake had a tense confrontation with Helena’s (Constance Towers) spirit.

Closing Act

The nurses returned to the stage for the show’s final number – the alternatingly somber and uplifting Hallelujah – which featured Robin (Kimberly McCullough) making a surprise appearance via prerecorded message. At the song’s conclusion, Jake appeared, prepared to show off his magic skills. General Hospital airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
