Coming up in Port Charles

Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) implores Rocco (Finn Carr), “Convince them to get you out of Port Charles today!” Lulu (Alexa Havins) is already one step ahead of Britt as she has the go bags and fake passports ready for her and Rocco to skip town if need be, despite Dante’s (Dominic Zamprogna) objections. At this point, the Falconeris are operating less like a family and more like a panicked witness protection program held together with emotional damage and overnight bags.

Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) delivers good news, which is likely that she told Laura (Genie Francis) that she’s somehow helped Anna (Finola Hughes). Nina (Cynthia Watros) might not like that Willow’s taking time away from managing Drew (Cameron Mathison) and now Jack (Chris McKenna), but her daughter will inform her, “I’m in a position to help, and I plan to keep on doing just that.” Willow has officially entered that dangerous Port Charles phase where helping people starts sounding suspiciously close to developing a savior complex with side effects.

Meanwhile, at the PCPD, Cassius (Ryan Paevey) states, “The best way to bury a secret…” and Dante finishes the thought with, “…is to bury the person who knows it.” Cassius should know all about that since he is holding Josslyn (Eden McCoy) captive for the same reason. Nothing says “definitely not a villain” quite like casually discussing murder cover-ups while secretly operating a basement hostage situation under a haunted island mansion.

Elsewhere, Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) informs Jack, “You’ll be taken care of. I’ll make sure of that.” It looks like Jack is now locked-in, so Nina must have followed through with the injection. Unfortunately, hearing Cullum promise somebody they’ll be “taken care of” carries roughly the same emotional comfort level as hearing a shark discuss swimming lessons.

And Ric (Rick Hearst) and Sonny (Maurice Benard) will compare notes, with Ric stating, “It’s time you consider eliminating Sidwell.” Which means Port Charles has now fully entered the stage where people stop pretending there are legal solutions left and start brainstorming homicide like it’s a mildly inconvenient business merger.
