These days, Willow is in a constant state of “up to no good.” But as a congresswoman of the great state of New York, she actually gets a chance to deliver good news on Friday, May 22. This spoiler must be about Laura’s recent request.
Key Takeaways
- Willow uses her political influence and may deliver good news to Anna’s family.
- Laura reacts unexpectedly as Lulu faces difficult choices involving Rocco.
- Sonny and Ric reunite as allies and begin strategizing against growing threats.
Willow Uses Political Pull to Help Anna
On Wednesday, a nervous Laura (Genie Francis) visited Willow (Katelyn MacMullen). She doesn’t know Willow well enough to know whether she can be a team player. So after consulting Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn), Laura asked the newbie congresswoman for her help with Anna’s transfer to a private facility.
Since Anna (Finola Hughes) recently broke the law again, there’s no way a transfer could happen without someone on the national level putting in a good word or smoothing things over with the French authorities.
Willow must have had enough juice to come through for Anna’s family because she gets to deliver good news. At this point, we don’t think the news will have anything to do with putting an end to Drew’s drugging.
Laura’s Surprise Reaction
While Willow delivers good news, Laura deals with Lulu (Alexa Havins), whose life is currently filled with drama, intrigue, and the very real possibility that she needs to take Rocco (Finn Carr) and get out of town. If Laura’s having a surprising reaction to her daughter, then maybe Lulu finally tells her mom about what’s going on with her grandson.
Lulu’s instincts scream to grab the fake passports and hightail it out of town. Maybe Laura agrees with her daughter. Would that be surprising to Lulu? Or would it be the opposite? One never knows with the Spencers. Fugitive status is something they are all very familiar with.
Britt Shares Intel While Fake Nathan Makes a Plea
Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) told Rocco that she plans to leave town. She thinks that her absence will be a good thing for everybody, especially if it means that she doesn’t have to finish the weapon Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) and Sidwell (Carlo Rota) have been making her create. Before she leaves town (if she’s still leaving, that is), she decides to share intel.
Meanwhile, Cassius (Ryan Paevey) makes a plea. Maybe he asks his sister to stay in Port Charles to finish the weapon. After all, if she exits stage right, all hell may break loose. Or maybe he saves his plea for Joss (Eden McCoy, who spoke about finding Anna’s message), since he has been holding her captive.
Sonny and Ric Compare Notes
Sonny (Maurice Benard) and Ric (Rick Hearst) have hashed out their issues and are back on the same page. Now they can work together to tackle Sonny’s other problems. Namely, Sidwell and Cullum. And maybe even try to get Jason (Steve Burton) back. As the week ends, the brothers will compare notes, and then hopefully come up with a game plan to deal with the town’s riff-raff once and for all.
