On General Hospital, Lulu Spencer Falconeri has been in a coma for a couple of years now, leaving kids Charlotte Cassadine and Rocco Falconeri — not to mention ex-husband Dante Falconeri — to fend for themselves.
Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) is making do with Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco), while Charlotte is hidden in some boarding school (in the summer?), and Rocco is…at camp? Which is why now is the perfect time to bring Luke Spencer (Anthony Geary) and Laura Collins’s (Genie Francis) little girl back to Port Charles.
There was never any reason to write her off in the first place, 61% of the audience fumes. This is a member of a core family and part of a once sizzling hot couple. Dante and Sam are hardly setting the world on fire, and a triangle might be exactly what the doctor (is the show still about a hospital?) ordered to make it more interesting. In the end, though, Lulu and Dante should still reunite. But you’re not against the road to happily ever after being more than a little bit bumpy.
Exactly, 21% of fans cheer! This isn’t about Luke (Anthony Geary) and Laura (Genie Francis) or any kind of history. This is about making Port Charles a more interesting place, and the only way we’ll have fun dropping by for an hour every weekday is if there’s something juicy going on. Now that Sam has lost Jason Morgan (Steve Burton), she won’t be letting his replacement go so easily. Lucky Lulu is no shrinking violet herself.
On the other hand, an almost equal 18% are perfectly happy with how things are going now. Lulu isn’t necessary. If she were back, we might be compelled to see more of Dante and Sam. And this bunch isn’t interested in that. Take your invisible kids — this includes Danny and Scout — and remain invisible…as a happy family off-screen.
