To the shock of the good people of General Hospital, though viewers had their suspicions all along, Esme Prince isn’t dead! She is back in Port Charles… and she’s got a secret. Viewers, again, have their suspicions. But is it of the maybe baby variety?
General Hospital Polling: A Lie Becomes the Truth
Esme (Kristen Avery Pohl) has lied about being pregnant before, which is why 46% of the General Hospital audience expects her to do it again. Last time, Esme claimed that Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) was the father. This time, our money is on her naming Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) as the proud papa-to-be. Although, considering that Nikolas is desperate to reunite with Ava Jerome (Maura West), this is likely not a family addition he’ll be excited about. And that’s even before he learns that his baby mama might be a serial killer… who stabbed the aforementioned Ava.
GH: Secret Lives
On the other hand, 41% of you believe Esme is actually pregnant for real. That makes for a much more compelling story. If she is also the Hooker, what will Nikolas do to protect his unborn child from being born in prison… without letting on that it is actually his unborn child. This could lead to some very twisted schemes. Which is right in Esme and Nik’s wheelhouse… also in Ryan Chamberlin’s (Jon Lindstrom)…

General Hospital: Something More
That can’t be it, 13% are hoping. Esme is too young and vital of a character to be tied down with a baby. Look how a baby story turned Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) and Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) into old fuddy-duddies. You’re hoping for more for Esme. She belongs in the same peer group as Cameron Webber (William Lipton), Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy), Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali), and Spencer. A baby would ruin all that youthful energy.
