Not My Dad: Is Finn Overstepping With Liz’s Boys on General Hospital?

With Elizabeth Webber getting medical help for her mental problems on General Hospital, Hamilton Finn decided to take her sons camping along with his father and daughter. It was supposed to be one big, happy family bonding trip.

Except that Cameron Webber (William Lipton) resented Finn for dragging him into the great outdoors when he had stuff going on back in Port Charles with Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali). Is Finn (Michael Easton) right to be stepping up — and stepping in — like this?

Almost half of you, 46%, are OK with Finn trying to distract Cam, Jake, and Aiden from their worries about Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst)…as long as he doesn’t start acting like the man of the house.

Cam’s and Jake’s dads may be dead, and Aiden’s is out there fighting the darkness or whatever, but Finn isn’t even a replacement for the replacement — that would be their late stepdad, Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth). Finn is just the guy who their mother was kind of, sort of thinking about getting romantically involved with…before her life fell apart.

Then again, 29% of you remember that Liz told Finn to get lost. She didn’t need him hovering or imposing. And since that’s the case, you assume she wouldn’t want him hovering or imposing over her boys, either. When Elizabeth wants Finn’s help, she’ll ask for it. She hasn’t asked for it yet.

The dude is just trying to help, cut him some slack, 25% of voters insist. He feels helpless with Liz sick, so he is doing what he can to make it so she can focus on getting well, and not on worrying about what her kids are up to. Now that Finn has been a dad to Violet for, what, a year or two, he is a total expert on the subject of parenting.
