Willow doesn’t know that Nina is her biological mother. Carly knows both those things. But Carly ain’t talking. Is she doing the right thing? What over 2,000 viewers wanted us to know:

Carly (Laura Wright) loves to lie about children’s paternity. She did it with her own son, Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell). She did it with Nikolas Cassadine’s (Marcus Coloma) son, Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez). And now she’s doing it with Nina (Cynthia Watros) and Willow (Katelyn MacMullen).
And 65% of you are not here for it. For one thing, it isn’t nice. For another, it always inevitably blows up in Carly’s face. She might as well get ahead of the story and be the hero for reuniting mother and daughter, instead of the villain who kept them apart. Even Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) might tell her how awesome she is then.
General Hospital: For Her Own Good
Carly is just being a good mother-in-law, 18% of the audience insists. Willow is still mourning Harmony, not to mention enjoying her life with Michael and parenthood with Wiley. Why should Carly throw a monkey-wrench into Willow’s joy? Especially considering how much Willow already dislikes Nina?

GH: Bad Lady
Nina can never, ever be forgiven for what she did to Carly, 17% shrug. Remember when Carly faked her death to punish Sonny after seeing him with Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn)?
Well, that was nothing compared to Nina keeping Sonny from his family. There are crimes in Port Charles, there are forgivable crimes – you know, murder, blackmail, assault – and then there are the unforgivable crimes – making Carly sads. So no daughter for Nina!
