Nina Reeves and Willow Tait found out they were mother and daughter at roughly the same time on General Hospital. Nina instantly gave up her grudge at the woman who didn’t want Nina visiting her grandson, Wiley, and rushed off to get tested to see if she can be a bone-marrow donor for the dying Willow.
Willow, on the other hand, forgave Carly Spencer, the woman who’d kept this secret until it was almost too late, but refused to so much as be civil to Nina. She might not even accept her bone marrow donation! Yeah, that’ll teach Nina a lesson! With such a philosophical divide, would it be possible for Willow and Nina to ever found common ground?
The only way that will happen, 11% of you predict, is if Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) gets a personality transplant along with her bone marrow. She is famous for digging her heels in and/or supporting Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) in doing the same thing. So, the short answer…no.
That ship sailed a long, long time ago 21% dismiss. Nina (Cynthia Watros) has been a thorn in Willow’s side since she was Charlotte’s teacher. Willow could forgive Carly (Laura Wright), and she could forgive the adoptive mother who led to Willow being raped by Shiloh. But Nina is unforgivable.
A winning 68% of the audience thinks Sasha Gilmore Corbin (Sofia Mattsson) is going to need to step in and play peacemaker. After all, she once pretended to be Nina’s long-lost daughter, so she knows what it’s like to have Nina for a mom better than anyone. More importantly, she knows how crushed Nina was to lose her daughter. Willow, who also lost a baby, should be able to empathize with that. And maybe that will be the string that binds them closer together.
