The General Hospital recap features Willow Tait still not seeming to comprehend that she can’t delay her treatment any longer. Thankfully, someone comes along to talk sense into her.
General Hospital Recap Highlights
In this episode, Sasha was there for her old pal, Willow (Katelyn MacMullen), while Chase was there as a listening ear for Michael. Nina remained in shock that she has a living daughter and prayed she could help her before getting semi-good news. Also, Anna and Valentin learned where Lucy really is, Esme ended up in Spring Ridge, and Heather planned to kill again. Now, let’s dig a little deeper into the details.
Willow Tait Was Ready To Delay Her Transplant
Despite the fact that without a bone marrow transplant, she could die, Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) once again did not seem to care because she didn’t want her daughter born premature, despite the fact that babies are born happy and healthy at eight months all the time. Michael (Chad Duell) was frustrated and wanted to talk to the doctor, but Chase (Josh Swickard) took him aside to cool off while Sasha paid a visit to Willow.
Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) was stunned when Willow told her that Nina (Cynthia Watros) is her mother and was a little taken aback by all the venom that a sick and dying Willow spewed towards the woman that Sasha thinks of as a surrogate mom. She tried to defend Nina and even asked Willow if she’d refuse Nina’s bone marrow if she was a match. Willow told her she would not but reiterated she did not want to have her baby early.
When Michael returned to the room, it seemed Sasha might have said something magical because Willow was finally willing to give birth early to save her own life as long as her doctor believed it was safe.
At Sonny’s (Maurice Benard) penthouse, Nina wept over the idea that she has a living daughter who hates her so much but also raged about Carly (Laura Wright) and how she kept not one daughter from her, but two. Sonny had no words of defense for Carly but was thrilled for Nina when she learned she was a potential match for Willow. Still, further testing was needed, so Nina and Sonny headed toward General Hospital.
General Hospital Recap: Vanna In Paris
Anna (Finola Hughes) and Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) are no longer living in a windmill and instead have a Paris hotel suite where they discussed how to penetrate Victor’s (Charles Shaughnessy) fortress. Thanks to the young son of one of Victor’s guards, Anna and Valentin were able to learn that the guard is looking over a woman who never shuts up and says “Ciao” and “Ta” a lot. Yep, definitely Lucy (Lynn Herring).
Anna was exasperated upon seeing that it was almost impossible to get into Victor’s compound, but Valentin was sure he had a way and just needed Anna to trust him.
GH Recap: Esme’s Parents Just Wants To Help
Back in Port Charles, Esme (Avery Kristen Pohl) prepared for her day in court, and Victor stopped by just to chat. She didn’t seem to know him but didn’t mind talking to him. Martin (Michael E. Knight) also arrived in his capacity as Esme’s lawyer and privately tried to get Victor to tell him where Lucy was.
Over at Spring Ridge, Ryan (Jon Lindstrom) wanted to know why Heather (Alley Mills) hadn’t hooked again to throw the cops’ scent off Esme, and Heather had to admit her favorite guard was fired. She did craft a sharp weapon, however, and planned to hurt another guard and make her escape so she could once again target Josslyn.
She planned to do all of this right away so she could then find Esme, get her out of town, and go on the run with the baby. Even Ryan wanted to come along. Then, luck rained down on them as Heather spotted Esme being walked through the halls before she got a chance to attack.
