Can the universe cut General Hospital’s Elizabeth Webber a break? If it isn’t one of her kids coming back from the dead, getting bullied or being arrested, it’s her husband dying. She’s had a rough…life.
General Hospital Polling
So when Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) disobeyed her request that he stay away while Liz (Rebecca Herbst) figures out what – or who – has been haunting her, Liz put her foot down. She needs to take care of this on her own. And if Finn can’t respect that, then perhaps he should just take off…permanently. Did she make the right call? Over 2,000 amateur therapists weighed in.
GH: Helper Be
Finn was just trying to help, 43% of you insist. Liz had no business being so mean to him. Finn is a hero by nature. He tried to rescue Hayden Barnes (Rebecca Budig). He tried to rescue Anna Devane (Finola Hughes).
And now he’s trying to rescue Elizabeth. If she doesn’t respect that he’s a man who needs to do manly things for the woman he considers his, well, then, maybe it’s Liz who isn’t good enough for our Finn!
General Hospital: In Good Time
Liz did the right thing, a more loyal 34% of the audience counters, at least for the time being. If she said that she needed time and space for the foreseeable future, then Finn owed her time and space for the foreseeable future. She’s the one suffering, so she’s the one who gets to decide how she wants to handle the problem. Finn overruling Liz’s decisions is a bad sign for any kind of future longterm relationship.
GH: Go Away
Finally, another 23% add to the above with a more harsh assessment: Finn was out of line. He was being totally overbearing and this shouldn’t just be a temporary pause. It should be a for-all-time breakup.
