Spencer Cassadine could have saved Trina Robinson literally months of heartache on General Hospital if he’d just let her give his name as an alibi for where she was when Cameron Webber and Josslyn Jacks’s sex video was released to the entire university.

Trina (Tabyana Ali) was at the cemetery with Spencer (Nicholas Alexander Chavez), listening to him sniffle about how he always left flowers on his mother’s grave on her birthday, which is why he absolutely had to break out of jail to do it that year. (Spencer was ready for those who asked what he did all those years he was in boarding school. He swore he had the butler do it in his place. He didn’t have an answer for why he couldn’t have done the same this year.)
Spencer didn’t want anyone to know that he’d taken a powder from his minimum security prison for this errand, so he forced Trina to go through weeks of hell and risk being sent to maximum security prison. Was she right for cutting him out of her life as a result?
Separate GH Lives
Exactly 50% of the audience thinks this is a good break for the star-crossed couple. They can take some time to think about what they want from life. And obviously, deduce that what they want is each other!

True General Hospital Love
But Spencer LOOOOOOOOOVES Trina, 39% of you plead. And she loves him! He put it down in writing and everything — and you know how lazy Spencer is! He must really mean it! Trina needs to accept him for who he is. Just think of all his flaws as adorable little quirks.
GH Move On
Only 11% of fans believe Trina deserves less drama in her life. Since Spencer is the one who always causes it, removing him is the best thing she can do for self-care.
