On General Hospital, new love is the lifeblood, and there is a host of fledgling couples on the horizon. But which ones are the fans really taking to heart, and which ones can you live without?

No need to call a dating service or a matchmaker. Here’s what over 4,000 voters wanted to make sure we — and the powers that be — know:

The Parent Trap

Initially, Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) was just helping Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) out by pretending to have fathered “her” baby, Bailey. Now that Bailey is back with her real mother — for better or for worse — 68% of the audience would like to see Chase and Brook Lynn become a real couple. And maybe have a real little bouncing bundle of joy of their own.

General Hospital: Long Time Coming

Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) has been in love with Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) since he was a self-pitying hunchback. Now he is a self-confident business mogul. And Anna finally seems to return his feelings. That’s great news for the 21% of you who have always seen more chemistry between them than between the love interests we were supposed to be invested in.

GH: Leftovers

Only 7% are rooting for Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) and Elizabeth Webber Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst). Maybe it’s because they only seem to be together due to a lack of other options. Anna is busy with the above. Liz’s husband is dead. So, sure, why not? You can’t expect anyone in Port Charles to sleep alone, can you?

General Hospital: Even Less

An even smaller 4% are willing to buy into Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) and Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco). They are equally as unattached — Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan) is in a coma and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) is presumed dead — and equally as uninterested in living the solo life. Almost as uninterested as you are in watching them.
