No man could ever live up to Jason, and, dead or not, it is Sam’s obligation to keep the flame of his memory alive.

But the two of you can have a perfectly nice life with your perfectly nice children and be a perfectly nice blended family, without the angst that comes with being married to the mob. On the other hand, Dante is Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) son, so she doesn’t have to break away from them cold turkey.

They have a daughter together. Not only that, but Drew was a better dad to Danny than Jason ever pretended to want to be. This is the only time she was truly happy – and didn’t have to keep looking over her shoulder. Sure, Drew won’t keep her in the Sonny fold. But that’s a feature, not a bug.
