Soap Stars Celebrating In August

If you are a Leo (beginning on July 23 – August 22), here are some of your traits. Leo is the fifth sign of the zodiac and is a fire sign symbolized by the Lion. Leos are large and in charge. Loving, creative, and theatrical, you will find many performers under the sign of Leo. Ruled by the sun, this sign is lively, fun, generous, and lavish with its affections. Lions are wounded if their generosity or loyalty is not reciprocated.

Leos are natural-born leaders and exude confidence. They despise small-mindedness. Whether it is caring for a magnificent mane or lack thereof, Leos are obsessed with their hair. This sign is well-known for its passionate nature and tenacity in achieving its objectives. Sagittarius, Aries, Aquarius, and Libra are the best matches for this amorous sign.

Negative traits of the Lion are being fixed, rigid, and inflexible at times. They can be vain, haughty, and superficial, often getting caught up in how they are perceived. Lions can be possessive and controlling in love and friendships.

Jennifer Gareis (Donna Logan, The Bold and the Beautiful) starts things off. She celebrates her special day on August 1, when she turns 53.

A pair of Days of our Lives soap stars, past and present, call August 2 their natal day. Nadia Bjorlin (Chloe Lane) turns 43, while Marci Miller (ex-Abigail Deveraux DiMera) turns 35. Also celebrating is Young and the Restless star Zulekya Silver, who turns 32.

Turning 14 on August 3 is General Hospital cutie, Scarlett Fernandez, who always thrills as Charlotte Cassadine and recently returned.

It’s a birthday bonanza on August 4 as three actresses will be celebrating. Y&R star Allison Lanier (Summer Abbott) turns 33, while DAYS alum Jen Lilley (ex-Theresa Donovan) marks #38, and soap hopper Crystal Chappell blows out 58 candles on her cake.

Erika Slezak, remembered for her roles as Viki and Niki on One Life to Live, is celebrating her birthday too. The six-time Daytime Emmy Award winner for Outstanding Lead Actress turns 77 on August 5. The next day, her former OLTL co-star Louise Sorel (ex-Judith Sanders; Vivian Alamain, DAYS) is turning 83.

On August 7, look for Y&R alum Sasha Calle (Lola Rosales) to celebrate. This Supergirl will be turning 28. Two days later, an alum from her sister soap, B&B is marking his special day. Joe LoCicero (ex-Vinny Walker) turns 37.

Beloved daytime vet James Reynolds (Abe Carver, DAYS) will be toasting his special day. The actor turns 77 on August 10.

Kathleen Gati (Liesl Obrecht, GH) gets in on the revelry on August 13. The actress is turning 66. That same day, look for Y&R alum, Tyler Johnson (Theo Vanderway), to mark his big day. He’s turning 37.

Next up on August 14, Jackée Harry (Paulina Price Carver, DAYS) is going the cake and candles route. She’ll be 67.

Courtney Hope (Sally Spectra, Y&R) will be partying hearty too. The raven-haired beauty turns 34 on August 15.

Another Y&R co-star Bryton James (Devon Winters) has reason to eat, drink, and be merry. He turns 37 on August 17. That same day, DAYS alum Brock Kelly (ex-Christian Maddox/Evan Frears) turns 38.

Next up, Sean Dominic (Nate Hastings, Y&R) commemorates his birthday on August 18. However, the exact year he was born remains a mystery.

Soap Stars: All About Virgos

If you are a Virgo (August 22 – September 22), here are some of your traits. Virgo is the sixth sign of the zodiac and is an earth sign symbolized by the virgin or the maiden of the harvest. As summer turns to fall, we enter the Virgo season. The ruling planet Mercury oversees communication, transportation, curiosity, and research. Virgo is known for their analytical thought, their detail-orientated skills, their service to others, and their sensitive heart. A mutable sign, Virgos are flexible and can make adjustments as needed.

A Virgo working on their most positive strengths will be empathic, creative, organized, adaptable, supportive, health-oriented, giving to a fault, great at communication, and a natural lover of language and knowledge. Everyone needs a good Virgo in their corner. In love, Virgos are loyal, devoted, thoughtful, and intuitive. Best matches include a thoughtful Taurus, a sensitive Cancer, a traditional-minded Capricorn, and an evolved Scorpio working on their healer energy.

Negative traits of Virgos are nit-picking, being overly critical of themselves and others, a sharp tongue, overthinking, high anxiety, and over-extending to the point of draining their energy. A negative Virgo could be a negative Nelly, a ball of anxiety, or a nagging shrew. No fun to be around.

It’s celebration time for two daytime leading men on August 25. Christian Le Blanc, who plays Michael Baldwin on Y&R, toasts #65, while Cameron Mathison, who plays Drew Cain on GH, turns 54.

Party streamers will be hung and balloons blown up for Kyle Lowder (Rex Brady, DAYS) on August 27, when he turns 43. It’s the same day that B&B alumna Karla Mosley (ex-Maya Avant) turns 42.

It’s a birthday bash for a trio of soap stars on August 28. Former GH fave, Kelly Thiebaud (ex-Britt Westbourne) turns 41, Daniel Goddard (ex-Cane Ashby, Y&R) marks 52 trips around the sun, and another Y&R fave, Marla Adams (ex-Dina Mergeron), celebrates milestone #85.

The month wraps up with former GH star Johnny Wactor (Brando Corbin) getting the cake and candle treatment. He’ll be celebrating on August 31, but the year remains mysterious.
