General Hospital star Lisa LoCicero revealed she had a big scare recently with her daughter Verity, who will be turning 7 this coming Monday. But even though it was a tense situation, her Verity said something that made her mother (and most women) very happy.
Lisa LoCicero — Out of The Mouths of Babes
The beloved actress, who plays Olivia Falconeri Quartermaine in Port Charles, posted an image on Instagram of her daughter at the doctor’s office, standing against a wall while both doctor and patient were wearing masks.
“‘I didn’t know men were doctors!’ … what my daughter said to this lovely new pediatrician who was making sure she didn’t have a concussion,” wrote LoCicero, who took her daughter’s words to heart. “Best thing I’ve heard all year… like the Archie Bunker riddle, only different…”
Of course, there was still the worry about whether or not Verity, full of wise words or not, had suffered a concussion — a fact the worried mother left off her post. As you can imagine, she left her own cliffhanger that fans and friends alike wanted an answer to as soon as possible. So she did the only thing she could do — she posted another episode…um, picture, with an update!
“No concussion! Sorry…getting concerned texts,” the star reported. She then went on to fill everyone in on what exactly got them to this point by saying that “she slipped at recess and I was just being absolutely sure before letting her sleep… 😴 her only issue is that mullet…😑”
Her only real issue is the fact that Verity is unbearably adorable! You’ll have to check out the photos for yourself below but needless to say, Soap Hub is very happy for both Lisa LoCicero and Verity that mother and daughter are both doing just fine.
