Fans of General Hospital will notice a different look to Molly in the coming weeks because the soap had to recast Haley Pullos temporarily with daytime newcomer Mia Kriegel.
Pullos made a statement to Soap Opera Digest. “Unfortunately, I was involved in an automobile accident, and I’m doing okay,” she said, “but I am going to need a little time to recover. I will be back as soon as possible!”
Beginning the week of May 22, 2023, actress Mia Kriegel will temporarily take over the role of Molly. Previously Kriegel appeared on television in the series Bull (Sonya Waliczek) and Animal Kingdom (Flower). She also played the role of Harmony in the film I Heard Sarah. The actress also did two shorts — BFF (Stella) and Baby Boo (Eve).
Pullos took over the role of Molly, the daughter of Ric Lansing and Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn), in 2009 when the character was SORASed after being born on screen after a train crash in 2005.
So far, Pullos hasn’t shared anything about the accident on her social media. Soap Hub sends its best wishes to her as she heals and recovers.
