General Hospital’s little Emma Drake-Scorpio is all grown up! Her portrayer, Brooklyn Rae Silzer shared graduation photos, giving hope to Emma’s possible return to Port Charles
Silzer Is Such a Happy Grad
GH’s Brooklyn Rae Silzer (Emma) posted three pictures of herself on Instagram wearing a graduate gown and tossing her mortarboard in the air, catching it, and holding it with her trademark smile in each one. She captioned it simply, “That’s a wrap 🎬🎓.” The phrase, of course, is used when a production has finished shooting everything it needs, and she indicated her double meaning here by putting a clapboard and mortarboard emojis at the end, signifying that she wrapped up high school once and for all.
Her followers sent their congratulations, along with photographer Melisa Stewardson, who responded, “Had the best time working with you and your mom!!! Just love how your pics turned out. Congrats on your graduation!!❤️👏.” Silzer replied, “Thank you, you’re the best!💘.” She had also posted a snap from the actual graduation on her high school’s football field on Instagram the same day, depicting her and a few friends as they celebrated their entrance into the world beyond.
Silzer’s GH character Emma has been beloved by fans since her debut in 2011 as an adorable kid, and we watched her grow on the show. Now that the actress has exited high school, and celebrated her 18th birthday in April, there’s no reason Emma couldn’t return to Port Charles. With actor Giovanni Mazza capturing fans’ hearts as young violinist Gio, the two would be the perfect pairing. However, on recent episodes, he seems to have taken a liking to Trina (Tabyana Ali), and a possible love triangle could be written into the show.
Whether or not Silzer reprises her role, we’re excited for the road that lies ahead of her!
