As Sam tries hard to keep Danny from Jason, Asher Antonyzn couldn’t help but share pics of him and on-screen dad Steve Burton preparing for more scenes together on General Hospital. The fans went wild with the thought of seeing Danny again, as the Teen Scene starts to boom in Port Charles once more.
Working Hard To Prepare For Scenes
With his ice cream scoop hairdo toned back quite a bit, Asher Antonyzyn continues to take Port Charles by storm as Danny, the son of Jason (Steve Burton) and Sam (Kelly Monaco). He’s a lot like his father, although Jason didn’t develop his stoic, strong, silent-type personality until after the accident, which left him with brain damage and permanent memory loss. So, as fans continue to debate whether Danny’s becoming a min-Jason due to nature or nurture, one thing’s clear: The two have an incredible father/son dynamic on the show, and it’s always a treat to see them in scenes together. Recently, Antonyzyn posted two pictures to Instagram: One of him behind the scenes at GH, diligently reading a script, and the next was him and Burton also in a back room, most likely going over their lines for upcoming scenes. The young actor teased, “Can’t wait for you all to see the scenes @1steveburton and I worked so hard on. Tune in today! @generalhospitalabc #gh #dannygh.”
Fans Couldn’t Stop Rejoicing
The fans were over the moon that Danny’s back, as one responded, “I can’t wait. Love seeing Danny and his father’s relationship. I have a feeling Sam’s plans will backfire in her face. Love your scenes with Kelly.” They were referring to the fact that Sam doesn’t think father and son should be near each other because of Jason’s dangerous lifestyle.
One fan may have highlighted where the two were going over scripts by writing, “You’re in the GH school room!!!” That’s most likely the room where young actors do their schooling while on set, and while we can’t confirm that that’s exactly where they are, it seems highly likely.
As excitement for the upcoming scenes grew to a fervor in the responses, one follower wrote, “Dude, you are killing this Danny role. Can’t wait to watch you and Steve when I get home from work.”
The praise continued to shower down on Antonyzyn, and it would appear that even one of his proud grandparents got involved, as they responded, “Our wonderful grandson on the right. He is beautiful inside and out. Asher is smart and handsome. He is Danny Morgan on General Hospital. We love you Asher.😍.”
Overall, fans were beyond thrilled that Danny has more story coming up, and perhaps GH will bring back the tradition of having the teens go on a summer adventure!
