The calendar year is almost ending, but a whole new crop of General Hospital couples are just beginning. Port Charles is seeing a new arrangement of combinations circling the possibility of falling in love.
And what’s more fun than watching a new pairing fall in love! Which one do you like best? Here’s what the voters told us about Cupid’s latest victims!
We’ve been waiting for this one for a long time, 66% of the audience cheers at the prospect of Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) finally acknowledging their long-simmering attractions. He’s wanted her ever since she was nice to him during his hunchback days. And Anna…well, Anna has always had a taste for a man on the greyscale. Valentin is just good enough at being bad and just bad enough to be good.
Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) and Elizabeth Webber Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) are a good match, 17% of you suggest. Mainly because neither one is with anyone else at the moment. Liz’s husband is dead, Finn broke off his engagement to Anna – and he has no idea that Hayden Barnes (Rebecca Budig) is being held prisoner somewhere (maybe). So he’s there, she’s there…and there was that not-quite-dead body they dumped in the freezer.
The same goes for Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) and Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr), 10% add. He’s there and single. She’s there and single. Also, they’re both drop-dead gorgeous. And devoid of story other than their affair back in the day. And other things they have in common.
On the other hand, we could barely scrape up 7% of viewers who are excited about Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) and Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco). Probably because we all know that Dante is still in love with Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan), and Sam will also always be hung up on Jason Morgan (Steve Burton). So they can banter and date and even get married. It will still be meh.
