The Devil doesn’t really want much. It wants Marlena (Deidre Hall). And the Weston baby. And to cause pandemonium the likes of which the world has never seen. You know, the small stuff.
The one thing that it could do without, however, are all the party poopers in Marlena’s family. Just what does Belle Black Brady (Martha Madison) have against her mother dressing up as her “true” self – it isn’t like she’s old enough to remember MarDevil’s original reign of terror. Lighten up, Tink!
And why must John (Drake Hogestyn) endeavor to exercise his beloved? Isn’t this the new and improved Marlena? Shouldn’t he want her to have all these really cool powers? Must be the creepy eyes that he objects to. Whatever the reasons, he’s chained up in the DiMera crypt and the Devil isn’t, so who’s in charge now?

DAYS Recap: Third Wheel
No matter how attractive EJ (Dan Feuerriegel) may look in that cassock – and the answer is pretty damn fine – he’ll never be able to tempt Abigail (Marci Miller) away from her hubby – though it wouldn’t be for the first time, if he did. He’ll also never again get up Chad’s (Billy Flynn) nose, because Chad (all of a sudden) trusts his wife. Ah, the transformative powers of love.
DOOL Recap: Assigning Roles
Paulina’s quick thinking may have scored her points with Lani Grant (Sal Stowers) – of course, she’d love to be Paulina’s matron of honor; but why did that have to be such a secret? – but it put her in the dog house with Chanel (Raven Bowens). But have no fear Chanel, you’re an important cog in the wedding machine. You get to make the cake and walk Paulina down the aisle.
Days of our Lives Recap: Communing With The Spirits
To prove exactly how far from learned they truly are, Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) and Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) decided to whip out their ole childhood spirit board and ask the Salem Specters some questions. The takeaway? Both characters are incredibly stupid – and they now know that Satan is in town and hanging around the DiMera crypt.
