General Hospital Peter
No one likes General Hospital’s Peter August anymore. Not even the people who used to defend him – in the face of all evidence. His last murder attempt didn’t take, but another one sure seems to be in the offing.
For now, he’s pretty much a sitting duck but it’s doubtful he’ll stay that way. Who has the best motive to kill Peter (Wes Ramsey)? We’ve got over 2,000 opinions!
Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) handed her newborn daughter, Louise, over to Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) to pass off as her own because she was so terrified of what Peter might do to get his hands on their baby. Maxie can’t get her little girl back until Peter is no longer a threat. Which is why a winning 66% of the fans are convinced she’ll be the one to deal him the final blow.
Peter killed Drew (Cameron Mathison), 23% of you point out. Which means it’s only fair for Drew to kill Peter. That’s a perfectly logical sentence in soap opera land. Drew deserves justice. Oh, and also payback.
Peter also made Elizabeth Webber Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) a widow, which is why 8% of the audience pointed the finger at her. Of course, the last time Liz laid eyes on Peter (the time before she held a scalpel with impure thoughts), this trained nurse mistook a living man for a dead one. So maybe we can’t really count on her.
Peter was responsible for the death of Nina Reeves’s (Cynthia Watros) beloved little brother, Nathan – who was also Maxie’s husband (and Peter’s half-brother), but we don’t want to get into that right now. And she’s known for making some questionable decisions while grieving, 2% remind.
Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) used to feel guilty because she thought she’d given birth to Peter. Now her only sin is letting him keep breathing. Which is why 1% believe she owes it to the world to put an end to that problem.
