General Hospital Brook Lynn Quartermaine and Bailey
The moment that General Hospital’s Mac Scorpio and Felicia Scorpio learned that little Bailey Quartermaine was actually their daughter, Maxie Jones’s, bundle of joy, they insisted on grabbing the tot and taking her back home with them while Maxie was missing. The problem is, baby Louise had no idea that she was baby Louise – or who these people suddenly fussing over her are.
Baby Louise thinks she’s Bailey, and that her parents are Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) and Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard). So while Maxie (Kristen Storms) tries to figure out how to get away from Peter August (Wes Ramsey), who should be taking care of their abandoned little girl? What over 2,000 in loco parentis candidates told us:
Who cares about Mac (John J. York) and Felicia’s (Kristina Wagner) grandparents’ rights when, as far as BaiLou is concerned, they’re total strangers. This is a 1-year-old child who wants to go home to her mommy, and that mommy, at the moment, is Brook Lynn. They should absolutely stay together, 72% of you insist, even if that will make giving her up even harder for Brook Lynn in the end. The point is, this is about BaiLou, not about the scheming adults all around her.
If they really want what’s best for the baby, then 17% of the audience suggest that Brook Lynn move in with the Scorpios. That way, she can be there to help transition BaiLou from one family to the next. Of course, the trauma will then be repeated yet again when Maxie finally returns.
A cold-hearted 11% urge Brook Lynn to just rip off the band-aid and disappear from Louise’s life now instead of later. Every day will just make it harder for her to bond with Maxie. It’s for the best in the long run.
