Entertainment News: Love and Family

Taylor Swift made headlines this week after reports came out her and her boyfriend, Joe Alwyn, are engaged. The couple has not confirmed but the rumor has spread like wildfire.

Who definitely IS engaged is Simone Biles. She said yes to Johnson Owens and is now sporting his ring. The Olympic gold medalist posted the announcement on Instagram on Tuesday.

Brian Austin Green is going to be a father of four boys. He and his girlfriend, Sharna Burgess, posted the gender reveal on her Instagram this week. Their son is expected to arrive in early June.

Also expecting is Adriana Lima. The supermodel is pregnant with her third child (which will be a first with boyfriend Andre Lemmers). The baby is expected to arrive in fall.

Priscilla Presley’s son, Navarone Garcia, is a married man. He tied the knot with his wife Elisa Anchilli in Switzerland. Garcia, 34, has been dating Ancilla, 22, for four years.

It’s over for Shailene Woodley and Aaron Rodgers. The couple called it quits and ended their engagement this week. Reps told People Magazine the break up is amicable and the couple simply could not make it work anymore.

Accomplishments

The house of congress has its eyes on Britney Spears. Two U.S. representatives, Eric Swalwell and Charlie Crist, have asked the pop star to speak on her conservatorship and her plight for justice. Britney has not yet responded to the offer.

Law And Order

Tiger King star Jeff Lowe and his wife, Lauren, plead no contest in their DUI case and have opted to pay a fine and court costs after the June drinking and driving incident.

Alec Baldwin is being sued for wrongful death for the shooting of Halyna Hutchins. The ‘Rust’ tragedy made headlines in October after the accidental death of the cinematographer. Alec is reportedly fighting the lawsuit according to Entertainment News.

The late Bob Saget’s family won a court battle this week after a judge granted them a temporary order to keep his death investigation records out of the media. They sued officials last month to keep the files sealed.

The body of missing General Hospital actress Lindsey Pearlman (Maggie McMorris) was found days after she went missing in Los Angeles. Last week, Wendy Williams’s former financial manager tried to deem her an “incapacitated person” and lock her out of her bank accounts, an accusation she promptly denied. This week, she is in the process of suing the bank. She won a small victory when a judge sealed the records so the case will stay closed to the public.

Ioan Gruffudd filed a restraining order against his ex-girlfriend, Alice Evans. The actor accuses Evans of harassing him and his new flame, Brianca Wallace. Page Six has all the details.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are back in the media duking it out. This time, due to a winery they owned together. Angie sold her shares and now Brad is suing. TMZ has the full story.

9-1-1’s Rockmond Dunbar filed suit against the show’s producers after being forced to exit the show over their vaccine mandate. He is claiming discrimination for the network not accepting his religious and medical exemption reports Entertainment News.

Superstar Lizzo is getting her very own show. The singer has taken to the reality competition platform to find her new backup dancers. Big Grrrls will air on Prime Video starting March 25th.

Entertainment News: In Memoriam

Frank Pesce passed away on February 16. The famed movie star succumbed to complications of dementia after a long struggle with the illness. He was 75 years old.

Ghost Busters director, Ivan Reitman, passed away on February 14th. The filmmaker died peacefully in his home at 75 years old. He rose to fame working on comedy cult classics such as Meatballs, Striped, and Nation Lampoon’s Animal House.
