On General Hospital, Kristina has always been somewhat confused. Maybe it all started when her mom, Alexis, lied about Kristina’s paternity.
By the time Sonny (Maurice Benard) was named the proud pop — as he is of most Port Charles off-spring — the toddler needed to adjust to being the periodically -remembered girl, while all the attention went to brothers Michael (Chad Duell) and Morgan.
She had some very confusing romances, including with Parker (Ashley Jones), the professor she first thought she was propositioning just for a grade. She then decided she was really attracted to her, and later decided she was in love with her. So, then they moved away and broke up.
Kristina came back to town and sobbed about how her life was ruined and she didn’t know why!!!

Of course we did, 70% of you sigh with exasperation. Look at her role model — no one is more gullible than Alexis! She fell for Sonny. A bad man. She fell for Ric (Rick Hearst), his brother, who Sonny kept reminding her was an even worse man.

Never Saw It Coming
For 30% of the audience, though, it was still a surprise. OK, Alexis is a dim bulb, but Sonny is usually pretty good at sniffing out the truth about people.
It’s why he shot Dante when he figured out he was a cop. Before he had to be clued into Dante also being his son.
