Gladiator: Can Nikolas Take on Cyrus on General Hospital?

With Sonny out of commission on General Hospital, someone else needs to take on Cyrus and drive the bad mobster out of Port Charles. Could Nikolas be up to the task? What almost 3,000 viewers think about the possibility:

Not quite half of you, 41%, figure the Cassadine prince might be up to the task. He does come from a long line of ruthless people. But, most importantly, he married a woman who can take on anyone over anything. Ava (Maura West) grew up a mafia princess, which means she can fill Nik in on everything he needs to know about entering the underworld.

On paper, you’d think the Cassadines, who are so internationally powerful they once tried to control the actual weather, would have no trouble dealing with a mobster from a small town in upstate New York. And if they can’t – Ava can.

Then again, 31% of the audience is giggling at the mere thought of it? Sheltered, spoiled, delicate Nikolas taking on Cyrus (Jeff Kober). The only thing Nik (Marcus Coloma) was trained to do was waltz at balls and know which fork to use for the salad versus the dessert. He has no idea how the real world works, and a thug is way outside of his frame of reference. The dude would be toast the first time he tried.

Big Man

Only 28% are confident that Nik can do it – and on his own, too. He’s stood up to Helena (Constance Towers), and he’s beaten death. He survived Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) and he more or less tamed Ava. The one foe he hasn’t been able to conquer is the spoiled brat known as his son Spencer. That kid runs roughshod over Dad anytime he feels like it.
